CONFIRMED DATES FOR SCOTTISH TAIKO FESTIVAL AND GASSHUKU! ​
 

We are thrilled to announce that the 4th Scottish Taiko Festival will take place on the weekend of the 17th - 19th of April 2026, featuring workshops led by educators from across Europe and beyond, each offering a diverse range of perspectives and styles for participants of all skill levels.

 

In addition, the 3rd Taiko Gasshuku Alba will precede the festival from Sunday, 12th April to Thursday 16th April 2026. We are delighted to announce that Masayuki Sakamoto and Fred Visaya will be the special guest in structors for the Gasshuku. This intensive retreat offers participants the opportunity to deeply immerse themselves in Taiko training over five days under the guidance of world-class Taiko instructors, deep in the picturesque heart of Scotland. Registration for the Gasshuku will open on Monday 12th of January at 7pm BST, so watch out for that announcement.​
